Overview
The work, explained.
Interiors collect what you cannot see: skin oils on the steering wheel, spilled coffee wicked into foam, sunscreen on door cards, sand in seat rails, and bacteria in the HVAC. Wiping surfaces makes a cabin look better for a day. Interior detailing actually extracts soil out of the materials, which is why the result lasts and why the car stops smelling like a car.
We start dry: full vacuum including trunk, seat rails, under seats and between console panels, with compressed air to lift grit out of seams and vents. Textiles and carpets are then pre-treated and cleaned with hot-water injection and extraction, pulling the dissolved soil back out rather than pushing it deeper. Leather is treated in two steps — a pH-correct cleaner worked with a soft brush, then a conditioner that feeds the hide and restores a factory satin finish instead of a plastic shine.
Every touch point is steam sanitized: wheel, shifter, buttons, belt webbing, door handles and cup holders. Plastics and trim are cleaned and finished with a matte UV protectant, which prevents the dashboard cracking and fading that ruins older interiors. Glass is polished last so there is no film left. If pet hair, smoke or a lingering odour is the real problem, we will tell you honestly whether extraction is enough or whether ozone treatment should be added.
